Ebay: Bedford CF1 Camper - UK

This CF1 Camper is up on ebay UK right now. It's not oin the best of conditions but those slot mags really make it pop. It's amazing what some wheels can do. If you look closely you will have also noticed that they were re-drilled. Finding original aftermarket wheels for the CF is really difficult so some people resort to re-drilling which kind of ruins the look with all of those extra holes on there... It never misses a best. But its a bit batters

It's either needs enjoying as it is or is a good candidate for resto.

I did bear minimum to get on road and have used it for 2years also as my daily car and its been great.

It's Moted til 11th july

Only 49.652miles, 2.3 petrol slant engine.

Which does have the common rocker leak which I've tried to cure but it still seeps out. Never caused any problems just kept an eye on it and level. Any bedford fan knows of this common problem

In the 2years I've had it its had New..... Clutch, Rear brake cylinders, Rocker gasket, Oil and service, Starter motor rebuilt, Battery, Bulbs all around, Front plate

Runs drives and stops

The Over drive it has works and cruises good on the motorway

Has electric hook up and all plugs work

Also gas hook up but never used as had my own hob and its missing the original fridge.

Original hob is fitted

Cupboards all there but tatty but do the job

Cushions all present but a few need recovering

New curtains were made all round and fitted but quite a few clips need sorting on the windscreen curtain as I caught it in door

Has childrens bunk that goes over the dash /drivers seat

With original material and telescopic poles

Pop top goes up manually.

Slide window opens one side

Currently fitted with slot mags redrilled to c.f. pattern also comes with original steel wheels and tyres

Petrol gauge only starts working wen you have above a tenners worth of fuel in

Temp gauge works

Driver door handle lock will not lock with key 

You have to lock drivers and pass door in van via door pins and go out the back door which locks with original Vauxhall key.

Has a cracked drivers wing mirror still in frame though

Rust on the van

Doors a rusty at top and bottom. 

Rear arches need welding at the bottom where we had to tap arches to get big tyres on

Rhs... top... front and rear corner gutters need sorting.

Lhs door the bottom of back door needs sorting

Bonnet need a a section on lhs front corner as it has a bodged fiberglass piece in

Underside is all good 

Arches are the only bit that will need sorting come Next mot time.

We've been everywhere in it from Devon to skegness to Brighton. It just keeps goin and is surprisingly good on fuel

Don't really want to sell it but need cash for other things
