1976 Bedford CF Ice Cream truck

"New work for @cantdotomorrow festival. Opens this Thursday, head to their page to get tickets, it’s a multi level gigantic warehouse with over 100 artists work inside. I was thankful to be asked to create and installation for the show, I settled on this as my canvas. A 1976 Bedford CF Ice Cream truck. Come by and you will find me in my studio inside the truck. Off road for many years

Mileage showing just over 10k I’ve done a vehicle check but only goes back to 2006 showing 6k no information before then ! I can forward the information to potential buyers I’ve added a pic

Ok I had been searching for some time for a Bedford project and found this and bought it ! I have done basic sanding down bit of body work here and there freed up rear wheels etc there rear chassis had to be plated and I’ve now painted it as shown there is still some welding needed under the cab both sides nothing major and was on my next to do list!

The engine did start when I purchased it but I tried to start it today and think the starter motor is locked up as the solenoid just clicks I will try and free it up if I get time !

The fuel tank has holes where the tank straps where I was going to have it Welded up as once it’s refitted the straps will hide the repairs !

I’ve got a box full of parts and believe that 99% is there!

Right so the only reason I’m selling is 1 I’ve lost my storage that I was planning on fixing it up in and 2 I started to work on it on my drive and has the council send me a letter stating I can only carry out basic servicing and I’m in breach of my tenancy! Bloody nightmare !! I’m gutted but I’ve decided that I better sell it as they said they could remove it !!!

That’s all I can think of any questions just ask me pick up and viewing under the new rules and social distancing and I’m happy for bank transfer or cash sorry no PayPal

And the truck needs to be gone within 2 weeks !

The truck will come with its key and original brochure! No v5 it will need to be applied for as it was lost very easy to do just a v62 £25 postal order takes 4-6weeks ! I will give a full receipt and you will collected from my home and your welcome to see my driving licence
