"I bought this two years ago as a winter project.
Due to work commitments, I didn’t get to use it last year and realistically I will not have the time this summer either.
The van was very solid underneath when I bought it, however, the body work was in bad condition and the interior was very tired.
Some of the recent work has included.
New distributor, points, condenser, HT leads and spark plugs
Oil + Filter
Fuel filter and hoses
Timing belt & Alternator belt
Rear Differential opened up inspected, cleaned and new oil
New Radiator
New front seats
New windscreen seal
Large leisure battery
All four corners of the windscreen, rear and side doors have been welded (cut out and re-welded not just filled)
Resprayed inside and outside 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of topcoat.
New wall and floor linings. (All have been insulated)
Roof has been strengthened, insulated, and secured down (could be put back into operation in the future)
The engine starts first time, does not burn oil, and sounds ok, however, when you take your foot of the throttle it will backfire. I understand that the carburettor could be running too rich and will therefore need to be adjusted by the new owner.
Coming up to 40 years old I believe that the van will soon become MOT and Road Tax exempt.

Due to the carburettor needing setting up correctly I recommend that the van is collected with a trailer. I believe that Shipley offer very competitive prices.
The van will remain for sale until payment has been made.
Due to the location of the barn that the van is stored in and the fields being very wet, I may need a few days’ notice to prepare the van for collection.
Collection from Aberystwyth area, West Wales. Payment via bank transfer or cash only please.
Although the van is in good solid condition, please note that imperfections will be found in the paintwork etc.
