"Bedford Cf2. Diesel Pekins engine
Here is a fun looking Bedford Cf pop top van ive had for a few years. Drove it to festivals in wales and such but now its been sat out back for coming up for two years.
The engine is a Pekins diesel. Starts fine and ticks over strong. The battery is a dead so I have to use a jump to start it at the moment but just need a new battery
Original engine cooling fan wings broke so I fitted an electric radiator fan.
Original ignition key barrel replaced with non original part. works fine.
Body work probs needs work as rust patches ineviblably appearing. Pop top needs new rubber seal.
Internals; has stove and unit but nothing else. Pervious owner started on creating an electric hook up but ive never used it.
Front seats are from a subaru forester as more comfortable and safe with head and arm rests.
Exhaust is hanging down a bit
As i say this is spare/ repairs. No MOT. But starts, runs, goes into gears and stops ok.
Been out back of mine for 2 years SORN but have used it in a private field to hang out with friends.
I feel like its gotta go if I dont get it fixed up and i cant see myself getting round to it.
