Bedford CF factory photos - Australia 1971



I found a couple of historical photos online. They are from the Australian Bedford assembly plant (Dandenong) in 1971. The body panels and parts were imported from the UK by GMH and the CF was assembled there. In 1972 they started to use there own engineered Holden straight 6 engine. The CF line was shut down in June of 1981.
Looking at these photos it doesn't seem to be a very advanced assembly line like the Luton or Azambuja plants. They are rolling around the bodies on large dollies in what looks to be more of a dirty old garage than a production line...
