Wow! Check out this imaculate CF2 pickup! 30 years later, it looks like it just came out of the factory. This is definitely for a serious collector, the seller is asking for big bucks. Check the photos and description below.

"1986 Bedford CF2 Dropside Truck/Van - has to be one of the best if not the best example in the UK

Full restoration carried out last year including a full bare metal respray for the cab, the body has been removed and rebuilt with new wood and treated then painted. All the hinges and black surrounds have been stripped back and re-sprayed, the whole chassis has been stripped back cleaned and repainted including all suspension parts and brand new rear wheel guards in matching black. Has had over £5000.00 spent last year alone on the exterior, running gear, brand new interior (professionally trimmed) and new electrics.

This has the 2.0l petrol engine having only done 78,000 miles from new which runs sweetly and pulls very well, also has a 5 speed manual gearbox so it actually makes it very useable. 3 owners from new and MOT till March 2017 - not a single advisory on the last MOT, new exhaust fitted with custom made hanging brackets, full set of brand new tyres with chrome hub caps for the wheels, new front brake pads, rear drums stripped down cleaned then serviced, fluids changed (engine oil. gearbox oil. axle oil. brake fluid and coolant flush). usual service items such as oil and air filters, new plugs, HT leads and rotor arm. New distributor cap. new battery with isloater, new junction box, 2 new headlamps, front and rear lights completely re-wired from new junction box, new adjuster rings for new headlamps, new fan belt and radiator cap. The top end of the engine has been rebuilt late last year with a new carburettor and put on a rolling road to smoothen out the acceleration, also had fuel tank re-conditioned as well as fuel pipes as it had been unused. 

All the bodywork and interior has been undertaken by a professional restoration service, the interior has had the seats re-trimmed in original colours and materials. new rubber matting for the floor and steps, front grille is original and has been painted black with silver surrounds for the new headlamps, new side mirrors (surprisingly hard to find). Has a tow bar fitted with full electric hook up - I have used this to tow an open trailer and it surprised me how well it pulls, it drives as well as most modern vans do.
