Here's a cheap project van on ebay. It needs some work to get it running on the road again but it already has some custom touches done like fender flares, "conversion van" side windows, a 2/3 high top (I don't know how those are called...), captain chairs, custom dash, the paint doesn't look bad either. The seller doesn't leave much information, apparently he's selling it on behalf of a friend without internet. Check the photos.
