"Tax and MOT exempt, 2.0 litre Opel CIH Engine with 4 speed GM gearbox.
Had the van around ten years and in that time It’s had new driveshaft, new front coil springs and rubber cushions, shocks all round, new front brake pads, new fuel lines and filter, electric fuel pump, new carburettor, new radiator, new engine mount and gearbox mount rubbers, and a new stainless steel exhaust.
The previous owner had tried to lower the van and done a dodgy job of welding the leaf spring perches to the underside of the rear axle so I managed to track a replacement rear axle down and fitted it. The van mechanically is solid and drives very well for a 1980’s workhorse van. I have a spare rear wheel bearing kit, a new clutch plate, and a few other bits and pieces that are hard to find but will be useful when the time comes.
Cosmetically the van isn’t terrible, but also not perfect. The pictures were taken just after i had the exterior resprayed 3 years ago it has since aged.
