Unique 1977 Bedford CF250 Motorhome, Professionally built, Opel Diesel. Beautiful condition.
Built in the 1980s from a brand new Bedford shell, new original panels, all new and refurbished mechanicals, suspension etc. Completely shot blasted, painted and waxoyled from new.
Professionally fitted genuine Motorhome interior with stainless water tank, instantaneous water heater, stainless sink and cooker, fridge, electric link up, cab /interior heater, 3 berth. Beautiful done and as new. Fully sealed washroom with Portaloo. 4 seat rear seating with store away table, seating hinges for a double bed, solid hammock folds from the side roof. Lots of storage, opening roof vents etc.
Fully refurbished and rebuilt Opel 2.1 Diesel engine fitted with more reliable and stronger Land Rover pistons and liners. All mechanical parts were refurbished or renewed. Runs perfectly, probably has only done about 5000 miles from the Motorhome was completed.
Shell was professionally painted in an oven at our local Vauxhall Bedford dealership, General Motor works in Ballymena.
The Motorhome was put on axle stands around 2000 and has been kept in dehumidified storage since that time until a few weeks ago as my late father who built it sadly passed away in 2007.
Is registered as a Motorhome on the V5, and has the original registration from a donor CF built 1977.
Recent full recommission with check over of brakes, new batteries, all new oil, air, fuel and oil filters, brake fluid etc. Ready to roll.
