"Wooden It Be Nice" by Steve Stanford

"A tribute to the '70s "Surfer Vans" featuring a nice custom Chevy.
I blended the custom van idea with the classic Woody wagon and even threw in a Beach Boys song title with a wry twist on the spelling in gold leaf.

A bright molding along the sides accents the wood trim below; and a vintage station wagon roof rack takes the place of the standard surfboard rack (or you could just carry the board inside). Take in the sun by opening the power moonroof; and roll your way to the shore on chrome Cragar wheels on fat tires.

The idea is to take a slightly different approach to customizing a van, and playing up the roots of the van movement of the '60s/'70s; as the van began to replace the Woodie as the vehicle of choice for So-Cal surfers (and their admirers)."

O motor e outros componentes estão a funcionar mas a carrinha está parada há cerca de dois anos e por esse motivo está bloqueada (travões?).
Neste momento não tem a inspecção feita.
Tem problemas com ferrugem (tal como visto nas imagens) e outros face à idade da carrinha.

"Classic One off Motorhome. Tax and Mot Exempt. Diesel reliability and economy.
Beautiful period example in unbelievable condition. Reluctantly selling due to circumstances.
Addition fuel tank added for extended range.
Unique 1977 Bedford CF250 Motorhome, Professionally built, Opel Diesel. Beautiful condition.
Built in the 1980s from a brand new Bedford shell, new original panels, all new and refurbished mechanicals, suspension etc. Completely shot blasted, painted and waxoyled from new.
Professionally fitted genuine Motorhome interior with stainless water tank, instantaneous water heater, stainless sink and cooker, fridge, electric link up, cab /interior heater, 3 berth. Beautiful done and as new. Fully sealed washroom with Portaloo. 4 seat rear seating with store away table, seating hinges for a double bed, solid hammock folds from the side roof. Lots of storage, opening roof vents etc.
Fully refurbished and rebuilt Opel 2.1 Diesel engine fitted with more reliable and stronger Land Rover pistons and liners. All mechanical parts were refurbished or renewed. Runs perfectly, probably has only done about 5000 miles from the Motorhome was completed.
Shell was professionally painted in an oven at our local Vauxhall Bedford dealership, General Motor works in Ballymena.
The Motorhome was put on axle stands around 2000 and has been kept in dehumidified storage since that time until a few weeks ago as my late father who built it sadly passed away in 2007.
Is registered as a Motorhome on the V5, and has the original registration from a donor CF built 1977.
Recent full recommission with check over of brakes, new batteries, all new oil, air, fuel and oil filters, brake fluid etc. Ready to roll.
The quality and condition of this vehicle is unbelievable and it needs to be viewed to actually appreciate it.
A true one off, custom, quality period vehicle.
