For sale: Cavalier Coachman [Ex Sir Stirling Moss]

I am happy to see that this Bedford CF Cavalier Coachman that belonged to Sir Stirling Moss is still around and has been fully restored.
It had been floating around ebay back in 2012 and 2013 for almost nothing and was a bit rough. Luckily it ended up in the right hands and now it's back to it's former glory.
Now you can buy it for £15,000.

"FOR SALE; BEDFORD CF2 MOTOR CARAVAN
Here is an opportunity to own a unique campervan with historical importance attached.
It is a Bedf0rd CF" Cavalier Coachman Cirrus 2800~7 factory build, previously owned by Sir Stirling Moss OBE and appears to be the only version of this model in use in the UK. Registered 14/01 /1983. Extremely low mileage 81,447 (verified).
Excellent condition. MOT until August 2021. Annually Serviced.
Sir Stirling Moss owned the vehicle from 1983 to 1986. In correspondence he informed us he recollects taking the van to the race tracks when his son was younger, giving him somewhere to play. He also travelled in it to Monte Carlo.
We have owned the Bedford CF2 since 2013 and is mechanically sound having been serviced every year. The van was stripped down from the bottom up and rebuilt when we acquired it. It was resprayed in its original colours and reupholstered.
We have tried to keep the CF as it was originally. Mechanically it drives well with the addition of power steering to make the driving easier and enjoyable. Internally is as original containing a sink, fridge, hob and grille. As the Cavalier coachman is a day van the back seat has been altered to make into a double bed.
This motor caravan is an absolute stunner and real head turner, admired by all everywhere it goes and has given our family has lots of happy memories. With regret it is now the time for someone else to enjoy and cherish the CF2 on its next journey. We recently instructed Legal and Technical Assessors Ltd to conduct a physical examination of the vehicle for insurance purposes. They recommended an agreed valuation of £15,000.00.
It is very difficult to put a valuation on this extremely rare motor caravan with there being nothing to compare it with. Taking into account its condition, the time and money spent along with its history we are looking at offers above £15,000.00 to the right home.
