"The first van I drove for Freshacres, mostly during my "middle year" from Pershore College. I ended up doing quite a lot of driving for them that year. The Bedford CF was cold, it was noisy, the axle whined - and I loved it!
This was taken sometime in March 1977, delivering cacti to Boots the Chemists for the Easter season. I was having a lunch break somewhere in the New Forest, on my way back from ... don't know ... Bournemouth ... maybe Exeter ... maybe Bristol and Bath ... I did quite a few west country runs."
